In 2012 the two neighbouring ski resorts of Alpbach and Wildschönau were joined and modernised to form the Ski Juwel resort. 

Since then the resort can boast over 100 piste kilometers, 46 modern lifts, 25 quaint ski huts and two snow parks for the whole family. Guests to the resort now enjoy even more skiing fun on one lift pass.

The resort now counts among Tirol's top 10 ski areas. A total of 10 ski schools teach novices of all ages the basics of this popular sport. Numerous ski rental stores provide the necessary equipment for all types of skiing and winter sport..
